New Player’s Guide, Schedule, and Friday Meal Tickets!

Less than two weeks to go until the Night in Question! And we got some awesome news.

Meet & Greet Meal Tickets

We have decided not to hold our Friday Meet & Greet at a restaurant this year. Instead, we will bringing a delicious taste of Texas to y’all. The world-famous Southside Market BBQ in Bastrop will be catering the Meet & Greet with a spread of their BBQ and sides.

To make this happen, we have to presell the meal ticket so we have the right amount of food for everyone who wants to eat at the hotel. So please, buy a meal ticket and enjoy this amazing food with us.

Meal tickets are only sale until 9/3/2021 at Noon! Get yours before then!

New Player’s Guide

Our new player’s guide is out! Please take a look and read up on important rules and schedule changes.

Please pay special attention to the updated schedule.

Updated Schedule

Our schedule has been updated! We will be moving up the start date of the main event to correspond to the later sunset, but will be playing later. Also, we’ve shortened our workshop this year.

Only 30 days to go!

We are now only one month away from the Night in Question 3. We are excited to be holding our first LARP almost two years, and we are hard at work in the jackalope warrens getting things ready. But here’s some important things to know!

Less than twenty five tickets are still available

Tickets will be available up to one week before the event, but 150+ have already sold and are still selling. Get yours now if you are still on the fence – http://the-night-in-question.jackalope-larp.com/tickets/

Remember, vaccination is required

Proof of vaccination will be required at registration. If you are not vaccinated, you will not be allowed to play. You can read about our vaccination policy here: http://the-night-in-question.jackalope-larp.com/2021/08/01/no-vaccine-no-night/

The hotel block is sold out!

We have sold out of rooms at the hotel, and they are now booked solid. But there are several hotels even within walking distance of the Bastrop Hampton Inn.

Player’s Guide is coming soon

An updated player’s guide will be coming out next week, with minor tweaks and new information from last year.

T-shirt and hoodies are on sale!

Make sure you get your shirt and hoodie in your size by pre-ordering it for pick up. Only limited extras of each size will be available at the merch table, so the only way to make sure we have our size is by preordering here: http://the-night-in-question.jackalope-larp.com/the-event/merchandise/

No Vaccine, No Night

People are more important than LARP.

People’s health is immensely more important than LARP.

Vaccination, and only vaccination, has proven to be the real weapon in the fight to reclaim our lives from COVID-19. On every level, from fighting infection to reducing hospitalization, it is the only weapon in our arsenal that lets us do the things we love while also saving lives.

The Night in Question is a vaccination required event, and proof of vaccination will be required to attend. Proof of vaccination will be required at registration. You will not be checked in or allowed to attend any portion of the event, including socials, if you do not show proof of vaccination. This decision is not up for discussion.

We are looking into further safety measures, including conducting indoor portions of the events such as the workshops masked or moving them outdoors if feasible, if the current surge does not subside.

We will not be offering refunds for tickets based on our vaccination requirements. This decision is also not up for discussion.

Proof of vaccination must show you have received all necessary doses of one of the 4 major internationally accepted vaccines – Pfizer, AstraZeneca, J&J or Moderna – more than 14 days before the event. Acceptable proof includes:

  • A CDC vaccination card or equivalent from another national government, or photocopy of the same
  • A digital record of vaccination from an official source, including New York’s Excelsior Pass, Hawaii’s Safe Travels system or California’s Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record
  • A printed or digital record from a retail pharmacy showing vaccination was completed and when
  • A digital record of vaccination from Travel Pass or VeriFLY, the two airline-supported vaccine verification systems
